Welcome to Geniefie! Our mission is to help you discover places near and far, and to help you optimise your free time. Please read these Terms of Use (the “Terms”) and our Privacy Policy (www.geniefie.com/privacy-policy/) carefully because they govern your use of our app (available on Play Store and App Store, for both Android and iOS) and our website (www.geniefie.com). To make these Terms easier to read, the Site and our services are collectively called the “Services.” By using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you don’t agree to be bound by these Terms, do not use the Services. If you are accessing and using the Services on behalf of a company (such as your employer) or other legal entity, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that company or other legal entity to these Terms. In that case, “you” and “your” will refer to that company or other legal entity. Please refer to our Privacy Policy (www.geniefie.com/privacy-policy/) for information on how we collect, use and disclose information from our users. You acknowledge and agree that your use of the Services is subject to our Privacy Policy. We may modify the Terms at any time, at our sole discretion. If we do so, we’ll let you know either by posting the modified Terms on the Site or through other communications. The date above reflects the last time that they were updated. It’s important that you review the Terms whenever we modify them, because continuing to use the Services after modified Terms have been posted on the Site indicates to us that you agree to be bound by the modified Terms. If at any point, you no longer agree to be bound by the modified Terms, then you may not use the Services anymore. In the case that you continue to use the Services after we have posted modified Terms on the Site, you are indicating to us that you agree to be bound by the modified Terms. If you don’t agree to be bound by the modified Terms, then you may not use the Services anymore. As a result of our Services evolving over time, we may alter or discontinue any or all parts of the Services at our sole discretion, without notice and at any time. You may use the Services only if you are 18 years or older and capable of forming a binding contract with Geniefie and are not barred from using the Services under applicable law. If you want to use certain features of the Services you’ll have to create an account (“Account”). It’s important that you provide us with accurate, complete and up-to-date information for your Account and you agree to update such information, as needed, to keep it accurate, complete and up-to-date. If you don’t, we might have to suspend or terminate your Account. You agree that you won’t disclose your Account password to anyone and you’ll notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your Account. You’re responsible for all activities that occur under your Account, whether or not you know about them. It’s important to us that our Services are working well to help you. We welcome any feedback, comments and suggestions for improvements to the Services (“Feedback”). You can submit Feedback by emailing us at [email protected]. When you share this feedback with us, you grant to us a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, fully-paid, royalty-free, sublicensable and transferable license under any and all intellectual property rights that you own or control to use, copy, modify, create derivative works based upon and otherwise exploit the Feedback for any purpose.
Refund Policy
Geniefie will process refunds only after receiving a cancellation request or claim from the customer, travel agent, or corporate company through the My Booking section or via email. Refunds for cancelled air tickets will be credited directly to the customer’s original mode of payment after the refund amount is received from the respective airline. Geniefie will process the refund within 72 hours of receiving it from the concerned airline, hotel, transporter, or other suppliers. The customer can then transfer this amount to their bank account by logging into their Geniefie account on www.geniefie.com. Due to banking procedures, refunds to credit cards may take up to 72 hours, while net banking refunds may take up to 7 days.
Refunds in Cases of Insolvency or Bankruptcy
Geniefie shall not be liable to provide any refunds in cases where the airline or hotel ceases operations or declares bankruptcy. Customers, clients, or agents shall not hold Geniefie responsible for any promised refunds at the time of booking if the airline or hotel becomes non-operational or insolvent. In certain cases, based on assurances given by airlines, hotels, or suppliers, Geniefie may choose to refund the amount to the customer. However, Geniefie reserves the right to recover the refunded amount if the airline or hotel is later declared bankrupt or shuts down operations.
